Sarasota County to honor emergency services workers

Sarasota County Emergency Services will honor citizens and personnel during an awards ceremony beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the Sarasota County Commission chambers.

The Phoenix Award will be presented to emergency staff that saved lives, and other honors include Emergency Medical Technician of the Quarter, the Distinguished Service Award and Civilian of the Quarter.
