Sarasota Chorus of the Keys improves at competition

by: Mallory Gnaegy A&E Editor

Judges sing praises for Sarasota Chorus of the Keys. At the Sarasota-based barbershop quartet’s recent competition, judges named them “most improved group.”

The weekend of May 2 through 4, ten Barbershop Quartet groups from throughout Florida competed in the Sunshine District 2014 Spring Convention in Orlando. Judges were surprised to hear them singing a different tune.

Although, if you read our February article about the changes the group made this season, you probably aren’t surprised to learn about their success.

The 30 members performed two songs (you can see the video here).
