Sarabande condominium sells for $800,000

A condominium in Sarabande tops all real-estate transactions from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2. Alison Bishop, trustee, sold the Unit 64 condominium at 340 S. Palm Ave. to Harriet Oxman, of Sarasota, for $800,000. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,774 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $495,300 in 1998.

Eric and Courtney Rosenthal, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1865 Hibiscus St. to Peter and Darleen Ros, of Sarasota, for $775,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,470 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $889,000 in 2005.

Burns Realty Co.
Shirley Schiff sold her home at 1631 Laurel St. to Kelley Ferguson and Shani Thimm, of Sarasota, for $650,000. Built in 1990, it has five bedrooms, six baths and 3,256 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $79,700 in 1995.

Donald and Lisa O’Brien, of Sarasota, sold their home at 949 Pomelo Place to Robert and Katherine Kirby, of Sarasota, for $625,000. Built in 1956, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,110 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.09 million in 2005.

Stephen Seidensticker, of Sarasota, sold his Unit C-519 condominium at 100 Central Ave. to Linda Stahley, of Sarasota, for $350,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,114 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $455,000 in 2005.

Washington Park
Carter and L. Teza Lord, of St. Augustine, sold their home at 636 Columbia Court to Carl and Bonnie Mittelstadt, of Sarasota, for $227,000. Built in 1947, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,260 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $210,000 in 2002.

Jay and Cheryl Frye, Tom Schlembach, Robert Paisie and Deborah Unverferth, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 206 condominium at 6480 Midnight Pass Road to Wade Patry and Kelly Blair, of Ontario, Canada, for $535,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,265 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.13 million in 2005.

Beverly Walker, trustee, sold the Unit 506-G condominium at 8773 Midnight Pass Road to Barbara Harder, of Lakeview, N.Y., for $500,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,768 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $196,000 in 1990.

James and Kathleen Pitman, of Lakeland, sold their home at 5521 Avenida Del Mare to Lind and Anna Larsen, of Holmdel, N.J., for $406,700. Built in 1986, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,564 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $462,500 in 2003.

Dale DesJardins Jr. and Timothy Beach, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 106 condominium at 5912 Midnight Pass Road to Marc and Susanna Glavin, of Ontario, Canada, for $340,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 830 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $699,000 in 2005.

Alan and Deanna Killeen, of Huntsville, Ohio, sold their Unit 301 condominium at 6265 Midnight Pass Road to Jessica Roy and Rachael Dey for $307,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,401 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $526,000 in 2005.

Harbor Towers Yacht and Racquet Club
Rhoda Leff, of Herrick N.Y., sold her Unit 410 condominium at 5855 Midnight Pass Road to Blair Weigel, of Palmetto, for $215,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,056 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $95,000 in 1986.

Steven Litwack, of Sarasota, sold his home at 3918 Spyglass Hill Road to John and Krista Moor, of Sarasota, for $270,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,553 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2005.
