Sapphire Shores home sells for $3.58 million

A home in Sapphire Shores tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. 394 South Shore LLC sold the home at 394 S. Shore Drive to David Barcomb, of Sarasota, for $3.58 million. Built in 1954, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,236 square feet of living area. It sold for $900,000 in 2013.

Harbor View on Golden Gate Point

John and Susan Mimnaugh, of Cleveland, Georgia, sold their Unit 202 condominium at 650 Golden Gate Point to Stephen and Julia Smith, of Rochester, New York, for $1.4 million. Built in 1962, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,949 square feet of living area. It sold for $820,000 in 2013.

Hansen

James Abrams, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 4050 Red Rock Lane to SPE #229 for $1.25 million. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 3,418 square feet of living area. It sold for $900,000 in 2020.

Burns Court Villas

Daniel and Faith Perkins, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 2 condominium at 1526 Selby Lane to Noland Mackenzie Canter III and Rhoda Whitlock Canter, of Falls Church, Virginia, for $1,225,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,910 square feet of living area. It sold for $985,000 in 2017.

John Huber, trustee, and Linda Huber, of Sarasota, sold the home at 4868 Peregrine Point Circle to Timothy Joseph Martel and Wendy Michelle Greene, of Lexington, Massachusetts, for $873,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,927 square feet of living area. It sold for $675,000 in 2013.

Harbor House

John and Barbara Knorr, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, sold their Unit 23 condominium at 174 Golden Gate Point to Donald Erwin and Patricia Provenzano, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for $780,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,367 square feet of living area. It sold for $610,000 in 2019.

Vamo

Mary Sanders and Darla Hancock, of Punta Gorda, sold their home at 1705 Vamo Drive to Fred Atlas and Amanda Jane Atlas, of Sarasota, for $725,000. Built in 1923, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,673 square feet of living area. It sold for $186,900 in 1997.

Patricia Glass, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 203 condominium at 525 N. Orange Ave. to Craig Kennison, of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, for $632,000. Built in 2019, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,158 square feet of living area. It sold for $466,000 in 2019.

Jacob Grollman, of Sarasota, sold his home at 2171 Wisteria St. to Kathleen Kleha and Elizabeth Hobby, of Apo, New York, for $609,000. Built in 1951, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,582 square feet of living area. It sold for $395,000 in 2020.

Eagles Point at the Landings

Stephen Queior and Kathleen Bontrager, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 201 condominium at 5420 Eagles Point Circle to Walter Kristlibas and Marian Kristlibas, trustees, of Sarasota, for $600,000. Built in 1993, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,930 square feet of living area. It sold for $445,000 in 2018.

South Gate

Eric and Meredith Piazza, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2400 S. Brink Ave. to Keith Moon, of Orlando, for $584,000. Built in 1960, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,750 square feet of living area. It sold for $224,000 in 2011.

Annette Breazeale, of Sarasota, sold the home at 2418 Tanglewood Drive to Wolfe Capital Investments LLC for $425,000. Built in 1959, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 3,223 square feet of living area. It sold for $136,000 in 1991.

Mark Smith, of Osprey, and Barbara Armstrong, of Germantown, Tennessee, sold their home at 2717 S. Brink Ave. to Francisco Zayas and Maria Zayas, of Sunrise, for $405,000. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,733 square feet of living area.

Mervin Hochstetler, of Sarasota, sold his home at 0 Gilbert Ave. to Vera Miller, trustee, of Sarasota, for $550,000. Built in 2020, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,552 square feet of living area.

Celene Smith, of Teaneck, New Jersey, sold her home at 3691 Kingston Blvd. to Jeffrey and Ibiyemi Klein, of Sarasota, for $525,000. Built in 1983, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,670 square feet of living area. It sold for $302,500 in 2009.

John Dent Jr., trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 41 condominium at 660 Golden Gate Point to David Glorius, of Longboat Key, for $525,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,346 square feet of living area. It sold for $195,000 in 1998.

Peter and Fern Tavalin, of Takoma Park, Maryland, sold their home at 2505 Croton Ave. to Michael Pearl and Patricia Valter, of Sarasota, for $522,500. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,710 square feet of living area. It sold for $250,000 in 2008.

Del Mar Labels LLC sold the Unit 503 condominium at 1500 State St. to Gregory Perrone and Carolyn Perrone, trustees, of Lecanto, for $436,000. Built in 2017, it has one bedroom, one bath and 736 square feet of living area. It sold for $363,800 in 2018.

George Matthew Brockway, of Sarasota, sold his home at 2440 Hillview St. to McDermott Properties and Utah Street Properties LLC for $430,000. Built in 1964, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,403 square feet of living area. It sold for $232,000 in 2016.

North Vamo

David and Shaina Starr, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1974 Debbie St. to Jenny Mau, of San Ramon, California, for $411,000. Built in 1977, it has four bedrooms, two baths and 1,651 square feet of living area. It sold for $317,900 in 2019.

Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,002 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,067,000 in 2013.

Guido Stein, of Hamburg, Germany, sold his home and vacant lot at 221 Garden Lane to Andrew and Bette Millat, of Plain City, Ohio, for $1,692,500. Built in 2000, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,692 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.05 million in January.

Nicholas Briggs, of Sarasota, sold the home at 515 Reid St. to Joshua Scott Marcus and Bat-Chen Sarit Marcus, of Tampa, for $1,299,000. Built in 1958, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,300 square feet of living area. It sold for $415,000 in 2014.

Merryman Management Ltd. sold the Unit 320 condominium at 6342 Midnight Pass Road to Lisa Buck, of N. Kokomo, Indiana, for $1.1 million. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 852 square feet of living area. It sold for $63,700 in 1977.

Merle Rachlin, of Ontario, Canada, sold the Unit 704 condominium at 5760 Midnight Pass Road to Cynthia Garbe and Alan Rachlin, trustees, of Ontario, Canada, for $800,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,361 square feet of living area.

Lowry Hughes IV and Kelly Lynn Hughes, of Sarasota, sold their home at 6203 Anise Drive to Michael and Lisa Gilliam, of Sarasota, for $695,000. Built in 2016, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,930 square feet of living area. It sold for $485,000 in 2016.

Michael and Marcia Freeman, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4668 Sweetmeadow Circle to Matthew Brannan Cochran and Emily Cochran, of Sarasota, for $530,000. Built in 1997, it has four bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,498 square feet of living area. It sold for $60,000 in 1997.
