Sandy Hook home sells for $2.7M

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between April 2 and 6.

A home in Sandy Hook tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Kim and Olga Nielsen, of Tarzana, Calif., sold their home at 2 Sandy Hook Road to William and Georgia Weisberg, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, for $2.7 million. Built in 2005, it has five bedrooms, five baths, three half-baths, a pool and 6,484 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $5.9 million in 2006.

Roberts Point
Michael Smith, of Sarasota, sold his home at 4129 Roberts Point Circle to Luis and Colleen Orbegoso, of Sarasota, for $854,000. Built in 2008, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,773 square feet of living area.

Whispering Sands
Richard Hoefer, of Sarasota, and Katherine Boyd, of Sunbury, Ohio, sold their Unit 506 condominium at 19 Whispering Sands Drive to Patricia Verhoeven-Provost and Richard Provost, of Lakewood Ranch, for $665,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,282 square feet of living area.

Roy Scheutzow, trustee, of Hartville, Ohio, sold the Unit 1202 condominium at 19 Whispering Sands Drive to WWS LLC for $640,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,282 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $185,000 in 1994.

Rosann Johnson, trustee, of Neenah, Wis., sold the Unit 1101 condominium at 19 Whispering Sands Drive to Raffaela Pera, of Ontario, Canada, for $540,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,282 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $320,000 in 2000.

Turtle Bay
Beth and Robert Baylor, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., sold their Unit 307-B condominium at 8735 Midnight Pass Road to Charles Johnson, of Sarasota, for $650,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,769 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $650,000 in 2004.

Gulf and Bay Club
Judy Riegsecker sold her Unit 203 condominium at 5780 Midnight Pass Road to Janet Murphy, trustee, of Toronto, Canada, for $550,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,361 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1 million in 2005.

Mira Mar Beach
Donald and Mary Mather, Sarasota, sold their home at 129 Avenida Veneccia to JAE Siesta LLC for $550,000. Built in 1973, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 2,120 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $375,000 in 2009.

Our House at the Beach
Richard and Ann Trieste, of Staten Island, N.Y., sold their Unit A-704 condominium at 1001 Beach Road to Quartz Tower LLC for $490,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,204 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $154,000 in 1987.

Revised Siesta
Lori Stone and Robert Newman, of Sarasota, sold their home at 108 Garden Lane to Clark and Mary Zumwalt, of Delavan, Ill., for $435,000. Built in 1940, it has one bedroom, two baths and 1,901 square feet of living area.

Island Reef
Frank and Ellen Weghorn sold their Unit 507-F condominium at 8767 Midnight Pass Road to William and Tracy Houchins, of Marriottsville, Md., for $400,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,303 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $173,000 in 1993.

Vincent Reilly sold his Unit C-507 condominium at 8776 Midnight Pass Road to George and Jane Cotsonas, of Malverne, N.Y., for $320,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,338 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $520,000 in 2004.

Bay Tree Club
Patricia Barnes, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 203 condominium at 8625 Midnight Pass Road to Ellen Hendrickson, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., for $287,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,115 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $184,500 in 2011.

Vista Hermosa
Charles and Patricia Borland, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 26-A condominium at 161 Vista Hermosa Circle to Nancy Dyrek and Vincent Dyrek, trustees, of Frankfort, Ill., for $230,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,165 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $33,000 in 1976.
Robert Winter, of Pittsburg, sold his Unit 47-B condominium at 119 Vista Hermosa Circle to Robert and Darlene Wilcox, of Matteson, Ill., for $215,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,036 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $36,000 in 1977.
