The exhibition sculpture for the 2009 SandBlast is on display at The BeachHouse Restaurant, 200 Gulf Drive N., Bradenton Beach. This year’s sculpture features a nautical theme and was designed by the professional sand-sculpting team Sandtastic. The SandBlast competition took place Saturday, Nov. 21. The event benefits Keep Manatee Beautiful.
