The Sarasota Sailors played their biggest rival, the Riverview Rams, at home at Cleland Stadium at Ihrig Field this past Friday night, Nov. 5. Both schools are out of the playoffs but their rivalry in sports made this game even more exciting for both schools.

The turn out for the game was expected to be at least 5,000 people but was said to have most likely exceeded that estimate.

The Sailors ended up getting to have the last say with a great play last second touch down made by Sailors quarterback, senior Sean Hurley, No. 15. The touchdown was made with only 42.7 seconds left in the game. The final score for the game was 14 - 7, Sailors.
