The Sarasota High wrestling team defeated Lakewood Ranch 43-36 in a dual match Dec. 12.
The match came down to the final two bouts with the Sailors’ Jared Hardinger and Chris Giuffre both pinning their opponents to secure the victory.
Sarasota earned victories in the 106, 113, 145, 152, 182, 195, 220 and heavyweight weight classes. Lakewood Ranch earned victories at 120, 126, 132, 138, 160 and 170 pounds.
