Rothenbergs move to Freedom Village

Former Mayor Lee Rothenberg and his wife, Frances, sold their Longboat Key home in March and moved to Freedom Village in Bradenton, according to property records.

But, although the couple is no longer on the Key, they’re in good company.

The couple will have many famed former Longboaters as their neighbors, including former Town Clerk and Village resident Pat Arends and longtime Longboat Key Turtle Watcher Orville Clayton.
