City commissioners are scheduled to discuss next month a possible public-private development at 1440 Boulevard of the Arts (the former Community Garden) in the Rosemary District.

The possible development of the city-owned land will be discussed at either the May 6 or May 20 City Commission regular meeting, according to an email April 12 from Mary Tucker, purchasing manager.

City officials plan to extend an Invitation to Negotiate and seek proposals from developers interested in building a mixed-use project on the city-owned land.

The city held a meeting in December to get input on the possible development.
