Road rage incident ends in stabbing

A road rage incident escalated to a fist fight, and ended with a stabbing in the Paradise Plaza parking lot today, according to the Sarasota Police Department.

Two men pulled into the lot in front of Petco and began fighting, before one of the men pulled a knife and began slashing the other individual's face. Emergency personnel transported the stabbing victim by Bayflight to a local hospital, and SPD has the suspect in custody at Sarasota Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
