Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate announced that the Johnson estate, located on more than two acres with 150 feet of beachfront on the Gulf of Mexico, has entered the market for $13 million, currently the highest listed price on Longboat Key.

Built in 2007, the home has more than 10,000 square feet, seven bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a resort-style swimming pool and a four-car garage.

The home is listed by Barbara Ackerman, Previews property specialist at Coldwell’s Longboat Key office.

“This is one of the first beachfront homes on Longboat Key to become available in years,” said Ackerman, in a prepared statement. “It is difficult to find such a rare jewel for sale in this area. I am proud to represent the finest estate on Longboat Key.”

Ramona Glanz, broker/owner of Re/Max Excellence, has earned the Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation. The designation is awarded to Realtors who have completed extensive training in foreclosure avoidance and short sales.

“This CDPE designation has been invaluable as I work with sellers and lenders on complicated short sales,” Glanz said in a prepared statement. “It is so rewarding to be able to help sellers save their homes from foreclosure.”
