+ Barbara Ackerman receives Eagle Award
Barbara Ackerman, of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Longboat Key office, received the Eagle Award for being ranked as the top agent of Coldwell’s 4,800 agents in Florida for her performance in 2009. Ackerman has now received the honor twice in the past three years.

“This is a well-deserved accolade for Barbara,” said Bob Stanley, managing broker of the Coldwell Banker Longboat Key office, in a prepared statement. “She works very hard at providing her clients with the very best of her 20-plus years of real-estate experience. It is only natural that her clients keep coming back and sending their family and friends to satisfy their current real-estate needs.”

Ackerman achieved more than $32 million in closed home sales volume in 2009, making her the top agent in Sarasota and Manatee counties for the second time in three years. In 2009, her closing volume was 36% higher than for the prior year, and her sales total was 45% higher. She has worked in residential real estate for 20 years, 12 of which she has spent at Coldwell Banker.

+ Seven Coldwell Banker agents honored for results
Bruce Zipf, CEO of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate LLC, recently sent letters of commendation to seven agents in the company’s Longboat Key office for their 2010 first-quarter performance. Barbara Ackerman, Carolyn Donnelly, Patrick DiPinto, Judy Kepecz-Hays, Lynne Koy, Bruce Myer and Roger Pettingell received letters honoring them for being in the top 2% of Coldwell agents in the nation.
