+ Loeffler is the top-producing Premier Sotheby’s associate in 2012
Premier Sotheby’s International Realty announced that Cheryl Loeffler was the company’s top-producing associate in in 2012 Sarasota and Manantee counties, with more than $35 million in closed sales.
Loeffler had more than $18 million in closed sales on Longboat Key alone, including an En Provence unit that she listed and sold for $3.45 million in one day. She has closed more than $1 billion in sales since 1986.

“Cheryl is a consummate professional who brings superior customer service, expertise and excellence to all of her transactions,” said Judy Green, CEO of Premier Sotheby’s, in a prepared statement. “She represents the epitome of a Premier Sotheby’s International Realty agent, and we congratulate her on her astounding success.”

Loeffler serves on the Longboat Key Revitalization Task Force, Federation of Longboat Key Condominiums Board of Directors and the boards of the Asolo Repertory Theatre and Ringling College of Art and Design. She also sponsors several non-profit organizations, including the Sarasota Film Festival and the Sarasota County Arts Council.

Loeffler told the Longboat Observer that she saw “a great deal of optimism” in 2012 and closed $10 million in one week at the end of the year, when many sellers were eager to close out transactions because of changes in tax laws.

She believes 2013 will bring more optimism and a normalizing inventory that will translate to higher prices.

Premier Sotheby’s reports 35% growth in 2012
Premier Sotheby’s International Realty announced sales of more than $2.3 billion through the end of 2012, a 35% increase from 2011.

The company was involved in half of the top 10 sales in Sarasota County during 2012, according to a prepared statement, and also expanded its presence with new offices in Lakewood Ranch and Longboat Key.

“The high-end market has recovered tremendously. Reduced inventory as a result of buyers coming off of the sidelines as the market improves has generated more demand to purchase now, and foreign investment has been a significant driver of this activity, particularly from Canada and the United Kingdom,” said Premier Sotheby’s president and CEO Judy Green in a prepared statement. “Supply and demand are returning to equilibrium in many communities within our Naples and Sarasota regions and we expect this trend to continue in 2013.”

+Sales in 2012 were fourth highest in SAR history

December 2012 sales increased 28% from December 2011, while the median home price also rose by 18% for single-family homes and 21.6% for condominiums.
