The man who designed the Royal Lakes course at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club has taken the helm of a national association for golf architects.
Rick Robbins has been elected president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects.
The Royal Lakes course is a modified links course that opened in 2007 and is designed to accomodate golfers of all skill levels.
