Lakewood Ranch Community Development Districts today moved forward with a concept to develop a longterm plan for landscaping improvements and maintenance.

Supervisors on Lakewood Ranch Community Development Districts 1, 2, 4 and 5 approved a work assignment with a landscape architect to develop a longterm strategy for maintaining and replacing existing landscaping.

"We're trying to develop that consistent replacement policy," CDD 1 Supervisor June Stroup said. "I think Lakewood Ranch is a beautiful community, but we want to continue that and maintain the high standards that have existed."
