Ranch Boo Run raises $8,000

Runners in the Lakewood Ranch Running Club’s Boo Run this year raised $8,000 for local charities.

Jim Nelson, president of the Lakewood Ranch Running Club, presented checks Nov. 11 to Valerie Nelson, of the Boys and Girls Club of Manatee, and Nick Tullio, representing Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.
