Property company gives back to military families

Castle Group, a local property management company, supplied 56 backpacks and back-to-school supplies for the children of veterans and active military personnel.

The Aug. 9 back to school bash at Goodwill Manasota, on Lockwood Ridge Road, featured pizza and refreshments for the selected families. Castle Group teamed up with the veterans’ programs of organizations such as Goodwill, Turning Points, Jewish Family and Children’s Services and University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee to find families in need.

Supplies such as crayons, highlighters, notebooks, pencils and folders were provided in the backpacks.
