Four Popcorns: Standing ovation

'Much Ado About Nothing'
Four Popcorns

Genre: Romantic Drama/Comedy

Cast: Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Clark Gregg, Reed Diamond, Fran Kranz

Director: Joss Whedon

Rating: PG-13

Comment: First two minutes you will say "this will never work"! Shakespeare's famous play adapted to today? But it does work, big time. Excellent performances and the power of Shakespeare create a bazaar, but entertaining, experience with a lot of heart.

'The East'

Two Popcorns

Genre: Drama/Suspense/Thriller

Cast: Brit Marling, Alexander Skarsgard, Ellen Page, Toby Kebbell, Shiloh Ferandez

Director: Zal Batmanglij

Rating: PG-13

Comment: Another Hollywood agenda hit piece on corporate greed and corruption. However, it is well acted and directed.
