Planning Commission to consider development

Members of the Manatee County Planning Commission will meet Thursday to make recommendations on land-use issues to the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners.

Items being considered at the meeting, which will be held at 9 a.m. March 8, in the first floor chambers of the county administrative building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, include a general development plan for a 1,282-home community off Fort Hamer Road, as well as a rezone for IMG Academies for 221 acres at 5500 34th St. W., Bradenton.
