The Patterson Foundation is pledging $25,000 for The Institute for the Ages, a Sarasota County Openly Plans for Excellence (SCOPE) initiative.

If the institute meets its financial goals, The Patterson Foundation will contribute a capping gift of $375,000 over the next three years.

“We are proud to announce our support for The Institute for the Ages, an independent organization dedicated to researching and developing innovations to solve the challenges facing the community and our country as our population ages,” said Debra Jacobs, president and chief executive officer of The Patterson Foundation, in a prepared statement. “Because The Patterson Foundation is a New Realities foundation, we have the flexibility, opportunity and the responsibility to invest in possibilities that are supported by multiple partners focused on making an impact.”
