East County residents Kurt and Lichi Fowler hosted an old-fashioned square dance Feb. 27 at their home as a fundraiser for Family Promise of Manatee County. The event featured food, fires, fellowship and, of course, plenty of dancing.
Family Promise is a network of congregations organized to help Manatee’s homeless families with children. It provides support services such as shelter, meals and transportation.
