Parents, teachers shine at celebration

At its seventh annual Denim and Diamonds fundraiser April 17, at the Chelsea Center, Gulf Gate Elementary auctioned off several items.

At its seventh annual Denim and Diamonds fundraiser April 17, at the Chelsea Center, Gulf Gate Elementary auctioned off several items, including a vacation getaway, a guitar signed by Josh Gracin and its school teachers.

The teachers who brought in the most money earned the right for their students to act as teacher for one day.
