Palm-Aire home burglarized

Two Palm-Aire residents returned from a stay at their primarily residence in France to find their home in the Villages of Carlyle in Palm-Aire had been burglarized.

A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report states when Alice Braileanu, 24, and her mother returned home Thursday, they discovered about 90% of their home’s contents were missing. A neighborhood investigation revealed a witness who saw a U-haul truck at the residence over a two-day period about a month ago.

The witness described the driver, whom the victim believes to be a family member, the report states.

More than $31,500 in property was taken.
