Osprey family nests near Tangerine Bay

While the Eagles of Florida Gulf Coast University savor the national limelight as the Cinderella story of the 2013 NCAA tournament, a family of osprey have captured the attention of locals.

Early this week, the birds built a nest atop a telephone pole 371 feet south of Tangerine Bay, 360 Gulf of Mexico Drive.
