Organizers seek volunteers for Longboat Key Triathlon

Organizers of the GNC Longboat Key Triathlon & Duathlon are seeking volunteers for the race, which begins at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, at the Islandside section of the Resort at Longboat Key Club.

The triathlon features a half-mile swim, 20-mile bike and five-mile run. The duathlon consists of a two-mile run, 20-mile bike and five-mile run.

Volunteers are needed to help set up and assist throughout the course.
