Opposition cancels Fish Hole meeting

Lakewood Ranch residents protesting the construction of a miniature golf course on Lakewood Ranch Main Street have canceled a meeting planned for March 31 at Town Hall.

Sheilah Hillman, one of the organizers, said the meeting, which was supposed to have representatives of the golf course and of Lakewood Ranch developer Schroeder-Manatee Ranch available to answer resident questions, has been canceled.

Instead, a representative from SMR will hold meetings with individual associations that protesting the course.
