St. Mary’s School Calne from Wiltshire, England performed, Monday, March 26, for the lower school at Out-of-Door Academy. The choir, made up of 34 girls ranging in age from 14 to 18, was led by Edward Whiting and David Bednall played the piano.

The group performed a variety of music from traditional chamber music to pop songs by Coldplay, Britney Spears and Michael Jackson. The ODA students had the opportunity to ask the girls about how long they had been singing, what kind of music they liked and what is was like to go to boarding school with all girls.

The group arrived in the States on Friday, March 23, in Miami, and performed in Naples, Sarasota and Tampa. The girls also got to have some fun by hanging out on the number one beach, visiting Mote Marine, and shopping on South Beach. Check out our photos and video mash-up of the choir’s performance for the lower school on our website.
