OBITUARY: Alfred 'Alf' Rudolph

Alfred “Alf” Rudolph, 95, of Longboat Key, died March 29.

Born Dec. 13, 1915, in New York City, he graduated from Stuyvesant High School and Packard Business School, both in New York City. He worked in the home office of Met Life and retired in 1976 as a division manager after 42 years of service. He was a fellow of the Life Officer Management Society and a board director and past president of the Beach Harbor Condominium Association.

Mr. Rudolph was known for his extensive knowledge of condominium rules and regulations and spent many happy hours reading the condominium bylaws.

Mr. Rudolph was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marie. He is survived by daughters Barbara, Arline and Linda; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made in his memory to Preston High School for the Marie Rudolph Scholarship Fund, 2780 Schurz Ave., Bronx, N.Y. 10465.
