Braden River Middle School National Junior Honor Society students showed a lot of love during their fourth-quarter service project.

The students put together 44 backpacks for Manatee Children’s Services, and MCS picked up the donations last week.

MCS was founded by grants from the Aurora Foundation and the Selby Foundation in 1977. Since that time, MCS has expanded to 11 programs that assist more than 18,000 children and families annually.
