Nancy’s Bar-B-Q has built up such a loyal following over the years that its customers would visit wherever owner Nancy Krohngold set up her catering truck — even in parking lots or abandoned gas stations.

They’ll soon be following Krohngold to her first actual storefront.

She’s teaming up with the Caragiulo brothers and putting a barbeque restaurant at 301 S. Pineapple Ave., which is the former site of The Panini Press.

The Caragiulos operate six other restaurants, including the South Palm Avenue restaurant that bears their name and Owen’s Fish Camp, which opened earlier this year on Burns Court.

The new restaurant will retain the Nancy’s Bar-B-Q name and is scheduled to open in January.
