MPO schedules St. Armands traffic meeting

The Sarasota Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization will be holding a workshop Oct. 18 to discuss traffic issues at St. Armands Circle.

The MPO changed the date of the workshop after several Longboat Key commissioners announced they couldn’t attend the workshop this month because they will be attending a beach conference.

The meeting, which will be attended by Florida Department of Transportation officials, will be held 10 a.m., Oct. 18, at the Sarasota Federal Building, 111 S. Orange Ave., in the ABC Room.
