Manatee County Government announces Thanksgiving closures

Below is a listing of Thanksgiving holiday closures across Manatee County Government.

County government offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29.

Thursday trash and recycling collections will be made Friday.

Friday’s collections will be made Saturday, Nov. 30. 

Central, Island and Rocky Bluff libraries will close 6 p.m. today. 

All libraries will be closed Thursday through Saturday. 

Fixed route, handy bus service and the Longboat Key Trolley will be suspended Thursday and resume Friday. 

The Anna Maria Island Trolley will operate as normal Thursday and Friday. 

G.T. Bray Recreation Center is closed Thursday and Friday. 

Manatee County’s parks, beaches and preserves remain open through the holidays.
