Manatee County government announces July 4 closures

Manatee County government offices will be closed Thursday, July 4.

Manatee County parks and beaches will stay open July 4, as will Manatee and Buffalo Creek golf courses.

The public can also enjoy the county’s natural preserves on the holiday, as well.

Manatee’s public libraries will be closed July 4. Other closures include G.T. Bray Recreation Center and G.T. Bray Skate Park.

Only the Trolley and Beach Express service will operate July 4. Fixed-route, para-transit service and Longboat Key trolley service will resume July 5.

Trash, recycling and yard-waste collections for the week will be postponed one day from Thursday through Saturday for residents in unincorporated Manatee.
