Manatee commission to hold work session

The Manatee County Board of County Commissioners will hold a special work session Tuesday to discuss jobs and urban redevelopment, among other topics.

The meeting, which will start at 9 a.m., will be held Feb. 15 in the first floor commission chambers of the county administrative building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.

Topics of discussion include commission directives such as jobs and urban redevelopment, expansion of the Community Redevelopment Area, a status report on how Manatee County will grow and more.
