Did you overindulge this holiday season?

Brenda Frost
“I had a cold most of the holiday season, and I just didn’t feel like eating very much. It was a good thing because I probably would have really indulged. I’m feeling better now, so I will likely make up for it.”

Judy Herman
“I didn’t, and I actually lost weight instead of gaining any. I just made up my mind as to what I wanted to eat and stuck to it. I also didn’t drink.”

Nancy Trotta
“I did. I love sweets, especially chocolate. I make a chocolate cake that is loaded with chocolate chips. I call it ‘Better than Sex’ cake. But I exercise a lot, so if I have by any chance gained a pound or two it will be gone soon.”

Vicki Workman
“Of course I overate! It’s the holiday season. I had chocolate cream pie, chocolate cake and chocolate-covered marshmallows … and , of course, all from Publix. I don’t cook. I’ve put on at least two pounds, but I kind of like them. I think I’ll keep them at least for a while.”

Nancy Eisenstat
“We were out of town in Arizona for the birth of our first Eisenstat grandchild. It was a very happy occasion, and of course we overate as we celebrated. I probably gained a pound or two, and I have already taken action. For starters, this morning I just finished walking the Ringling Bridge.”
