Man robbed at gunpoint

An unknown man held a gun to another man's head during a robbery after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, on the 2100 block of Cocoanut Avenue, according to a Sarasota Police Department news release.

The victim told detectives the suspect, a black male wearing a dark hoodie and black sweatpants, was hiding near his residence. The suspect fled with the victim's work briefcase, a Fossil watch, a bracelet and a silver ring.
