Man arrested for sexual battery on child

Sarasota Police arrested a 29-year-old man Thursday, Sept. 19, for capital sexual battery committed on a five-year-old boy in 2007.

Officers arrested Camelot Baraja-Storres after the victim told detectives about the incident in which Baraja-Storres handcuffed the victim before committing the alleged sexual battery. The Sarasota Police Department also charged Baraja-Storres with false imprisonment of a child under 13 years old.

Baraja-Storres is being held in Sarasota County Jail without bail.
