LWR IDA and CDDs to review 2013 audit reports

The Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority and Community Development District six will meet this week to review and discuss the results of the recently released 2013 audit report, among other issues, at their monthly gathering.

The groups will each meet at 10 a.m. Feb. 20, at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, to reflect on the findings.

In accordance with Florida statutes, the annual financial report must be completed no later than nine months after the end of the previous fiscal year

In both cases, the IDA and CDD, maintained "clean" records, with assetts exceeding liabilities last year. The IDA ended the year with a $717,737 balance, while the sixth CDD finished with about $1.8 million.
