Bird Key home sells for $2.6 million

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. David and Pamela Sowder sold their home to Barry and Marcia Seinfeld, of Sarasota, for $2.6 million. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 5,267 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.4 million in 2011.

Villa Di Lancia

Beech Holdings (BVI) Ltd. sold the Unit 132 condominium at 2165 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Robert and Barbara Steele, of Chicago, for $1,422,000. Built in 1996, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,448 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $694,200 in 1996.

Bay Isles

Judy Weston, trustee, of Bradenton, sold the home at 3121 Bayou Sound to Scott and Maria Miller, of Longboat Key, for $1.35 million. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,880 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $600,000 in 1993.

Country Club Shores

James Pappas, trustee, and Diana Pappas, of Sarasota, sold the home at 581 Wedge Lane to 33418 Egypt Crossing LLC for $1,347,500. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,283 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.05 million in 2002.

Promenade

Tobia and Rose Soriero, trustees, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 908 condominium at 1211 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Parker and Calene Gennett, of Binghamton, N.Y., for $975,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 2,934 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $629,000 in 1987.

Sleepy Lagoon Park

Barrott Properties LLC sold the home at 563 Juan Anasco Drive to Palm Tree Bay LLC for $722,000. Built in 1951, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,527 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $638,000 in 2014.

St. Armands Towers

Bob Rappaport, of Arlington, Va., sold his Unit 76 condominium at 101 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Richard Spears and Susan Spears, trustees, of Bradenton, for $685,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,275 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $650,000 in 2013.

The Privateer South

Alan Yaruss, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 805 condominium at 1000 Longboat Club Road to Joseph Fisher and Dana Rollison, of Tampa, for $675,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,290 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2008.

Westchester Condominium Apartments

Shobha Patel sold her Unit 303 condominium at 4825 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Thomas Callaghan, of Hoboken, N.J., for $665,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,393 square feet of living area.

Corey’s Landing

Ruth Manasse, trustee, sold the home at 3467 Byron Lane to Melissa and Eric Averitt, of Indianapolis, for $550,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,227 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $385,000 in 1992.

Powers Family LLP sold the Unit 503 condominium at 1115 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Robert and Kimberly Morrissey, of Longboat Key, for $525,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,503 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2012.

Bayport Beach and Tennis Club

William Van Etten, of Sparta, N.J., sold the Unit 721 condominium at 721 Bayport Way to Edward and Lynn Marentette, of Longboat Key, for $440,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,260 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 1999.

Longboat Harbour

Danilo Zuniga-Pedrianes sold his Unit 301 condominium at 4340 Falmouth Drive to Clifford and Amy Franklin, of Lakeland, for $369,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,092 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $390,000 in 2006. 

Sarasota Harbor Apartments

Melody Otto, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 35 condominium at 767 John Ringling Blvd. to Wayne and Rita Estes, of Sebring, for $325,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 816 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $69,500 in 1989.

Bruno and Linda Casatelli, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 33 condominium at 761 John Ringling Blvd. to Edward and Joyce Wenzke, of Bradenton, for $320,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 816 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $260,000 in 2012.

Edwin and Mary Ortiz, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 189 condominium at 684 El Centro to John and Rosemary Gangloff, of Roscoe, Ill., for $260,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,097 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $240,000 in 2015.
