+ All Angels blesses columbarium

All Angels by the Sea Episcopal Church dedicated a columbarium to its property Jan. 31.

The columbarium will hold cremains and is the only columbarium open to the public on the Key.

“I think it really started out of the parish learning that a lot of people are no longer retiring in a place they have a lot of family remaining,” said Sandy Wood, of All Angels. “This town has become for most people where their last years are spent, and we want people to have the choice to have the perfect setting for their cremains above ground.”

Cost for a space is $2,000 for up to two people.
