As an incredibly famous Sarasota celebrity, known for my immense talent, movie-star looks and down-to-earth persona, I am often asked to participate in fundraisers of all kinds. I am thrilled to be involved in one taking place this Thursday, May 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Polo Grill and Bar in Lakewood Ranch. I will be a celebrity bartender and singer at the event, where anyone can come to stand in my presence and listen to my lovely voice.

The cause is for The The Players Theatre, Sarasota’s first and oldest performing arts organization. This pillar of Sarasota culture is dedicated to providing theatrical experiences that educate, stimulate and enrich the community. A non-profit organization, The Players Theatre serves a diverse audience of more than 75,000 people annually and provides vital training for 300-plus students aged 3 to 103.

Those who attend the fundraiser will get to schmooze with friends, participate in a 50/50 raffle, win gift baskets and enjoy cocktails and entertainment from myself and my fellow local celebrities:

  •  Logan O’Neil, dashing triple threat and leading man
  • Jeffery Kin, The Players Artistic Director and all-around great guy
  • Beneva Fruitville, provocative chanteuse and host of Drag Queen Bingo

“This is a fun event to support The Players Theatre. You’ll enjoy great entertainment, hear about all of our upcoming shows, and it’s an exciting opportunity to get a taste of our organization,” explained Michelle Bianchi Pingel, Managing Director and CEO of The Players.

At the very least, it’s a perfect way to make your average Thursday evening after work extraordinary! And … you'll get to hear me sing.
