Officials on the Inter-District Authority Board showed their support for the adoption of core values for their agency.

Lakewood Ranch Town Hall Executive Director Eva Rey said the four ideals for the IDA were identified during staff meetings over the last few months. They are: respect, integrity, teamwork and empowerment.

Rey said she hopes to place comment cards in the Town Hall lobby, so customers can provide feedback after meeting with Town Hall employees. The cards will help provide feedback to ensure IDA personnel are meeting expectations.

"It’s not just enough to communicate what we expect, we have to measure if we’re meeting it," Rey said.
