Lakewood Ranch High explores college and career options

Even if Lakewood Ranch High students aren't set on a college, yet, the school's annual College and Career Fair will help steer them in a college- or career-bound direction.

The annual event will feature more than 80 colleges, universities and career options for sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Students will take turns attending the event, which will be held during first period, 7:45 to 8:33 a.m., and third period, 10:23 a.m. to 12:28 p.m., Feb. 19, in the school's gym.

The League of Women Voters will also be on site to help eligible students register to vote.
