The Out-of-Door Academy volleyball team defeated Bradenton Christian 18-25, 27-25, 25-22, 15-25, 15-12 in Class 3A-District 10 action Sept. 9.

Reanna Gregory had 13 kills, and Sam Emmons added 11 kills to lead the way for the Lady Thunder. Emmons also had five aces. Greta Holland and Cameron Graham combined for 55 of the team’s 120 digs.

"I was so impressed by how much our team hustled and worked defensively," coach Stefanie Betz says. “We've been preaching work, work, work for weeks and this is the first time I think we've out worked our opponent."
