The Out-of-Door Academy volleyball team held on to beat Bradenton Christian 3-2 in district action Oct. 1.
The Lady Thunder (5-4, 2-2) defeated the Lady Panthers 25-16, 25-11, 17-25, 21-25, 15-11.
Natalie Buffett led ODA with 13 kills. Lauren Maxey added eight kills and 10 aces. Gabriella Costa finished with six kills and five blocks and Haley Preininger had 23 assists and 12 perfect passes.
