The Braden River High volleyball team defeated Manatee High 3-1 Oct. 6.
The Lady Pirates (12-3, 5-0) beat the Lady Hurricanes 25-10, 17-25, 25-14 and 25-23. Leading the way for Braden River was Kaleigh Jaco who finished with six kills and 12 blocks.
Braden River returns to district action at 7 p.m. tonight against Osceola. With a win, the Lady Pirates will clinch the No. 1 seed in the district tournament.
