The Lakewood Ranch High volleyball team opened its season on a winning note, defeating The Out-of-Door Academy 26-24, 23-25 and 15-13 in the Cardinal Mooney Preseason Classic Aug. 26 at Cardinal Mooney High School.
The Lady Thunder will return to action at 6:45 p.m., Aug. 31 against Shorecrest Prep while the Lady Mustangs will return to action Sept. 3 at Sarasota High.
