Lady Blazers prevail in five

The Sarasota Christian volleyball team came back to beat The Out-of-Door Academy 11-25, 25-19, 28-26, 22-25, 15-9 in non-district action Oct. 13.

Andrea Wittmer and Anikka Jensen each had 14 kills and two aces for the Lady Blazers. Brianna Eddy added 12 kills and two blocks.

ODA’s Natalie Buffett led all players with 22 kills and 22 digs. Cameron Graham added 23 digs. Monica Costa finished with 47 assists and two aces.

Sarasota Christian returns to action Oct. 16 versus the Manatee HEAT.
