Two Longboat Key students reached milestones in their pursuits of higher education.

Kathryn Elise McGinn recently graduated from Clemson University, in Clemson, S.C., with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. The 2010 Pine View School graduate is the daughter of Brian and Lisa McGinn.

Samantha Albano was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Merrimack College, in North Andover, Mass. Albano is the daughter of Mike and Sandy Albano. She is a 2013 graduate of Out-of-Door Academy.
